The Egg Men left twenty one other bands licking their wounds when they played their way into the final of the battle of the bands in the Torphicen Arms Mid Calder on Friday 19Th December 2008, the judges voted unanimously for the Egg Men.
Derek Wilkins had to fly in from Spain to make the gig, after the gig he headed for Glasgow airport to make his way back to Spain, (Just like a true rocker)
Due ti illness John Black could not attend the competition we all hope he is better soon he is an asset to the band.
Prizes include a gig at the Liquid Rooms, recording studio time and a slot on local radio, the Liquid Rooms gig may have to be re scheduled due to a fire at the premises .
2009 looks like it could be a belter for the Egg Men, Martin Sweeny Manager is going full out to get them gigs in West Lothian.
